Police urged South Side residents Wednesday to be on the lookout for a man with a gun who detectives believe was responsible for two sexual assaults.
The attacks occurred between 2 and 6 a.m. on the 600 block of West 124th Street and the 10800 block of South Prairie Avenue on Sunday, said Calumet Area Sgt. Raymond Madigan.
Detectives were conducting the investigation based on the assumption that both assaults were done by the same man, but they are not certain, Madigan said.
