Lyle R. Elste, 85, Lexington, KY, widower of Donna B. Massey, died Saturday, July 31, 2004 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Born in Chicago, he was a son of the late Edward and Martha Elste. He was a retired plant manager of Success Printing Co. and was a WWII Army Veteran. Survivors are a daughter, Gay E. Darsie Glenn of Versailles, KY; a son, Kip William Elste of Richmond, VA; and two brothers, Glenn Elste of Germantown, WI and Warren Elste of Morton Grove, IL. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Aug. 13, 2 p.m. at Richmond Place, Lexington, KY, with a second Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, Aug. 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis, IN. Memorials are suggested to Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46260; Florence Crittenden Home, 519 West Fourth Street, Lexington, KY 40508; or to a charity of one’s choice.
