I think “The Bean” is fabulous! It’s a great landmark and you’ll soon understand why. As an artist I can tell you Anish (Kapoor) has done a great job with the structure’s symbolism. It simply reflects our city in a flattering manner. Its space and image is unity and it’s just perfect.
Unfortunately, I do not feel the same way for the rest of the park. Our mayor should never have commissioned it in the first place. With so many other important issues to be dealt with, tell me why he decided to spend some funds on a $475 million park! That was unwise and I won’t forget this in the next election.
