So rock artists have decided to voice their opposition to George Bush’s presidency by staging various concerts in swing states (“Pop music stars set blitz to defeat Bush,” Metro, Aug. 5).
I wonder how many musicians can sing an Iraqi version of Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA” (that is, “Born in Iraq”) now that Saddam Hussein is no longer in power?
I am sure they would like to thank our president for that freedom instead of trying to oust him.
