Mildred Hull of Hometown, IL, passed away on July 28. She was born in Spearfish, SD, the fourth daughter in a family of eight children of Robert and Mary Hull. She received her nursing diploma from Providence Hospital School of Nursing in Detroit, MI, and attended Indiana University. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Nursing from St. John’s University in Jamaica, L.I., NY. She taught and supervised nursing students at Cornell University College of Nursing in New York and at Mt. Mercy College in Pittsburgh. She taught nursing students at Chicago State University beginning in 1975. She retired from CSU in 1989. Surviving are Faye Roberts of Tamarac, FL, sister; Richard (Betty) Hull, brother and sister-in-law of Stoney Fork, KY; Jeanne Hull of Gunnison, CO; deceased are Robert and Mary (Richey) Hull, parents; Olive (Matthew) Williams, sister and brother-in-law; Doris (Lawrence) Cozad, sister and brother-in-law; Francis Hull, brother; and James (Frances) Hull, brother. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, 2825 W. 81st Street, Chicago, on Wednesday, August 11, at 10 a.m.
