I really appreciate the article staff reporter Jennifer Skalka wrote about Jerry Kohn and Albert Franzen, the other U.S. Senate candidates (“Foes out to prove Obama not alone,” Metro, Aug. 1). It’s a breath of fresh air to see reporting about third-party and independent candidates. The work they often have to go through to get and stay on the ballot makes these candidates worthy of being mentioned. Keep up this great kind of work.
