Mildred M. Bowton, nee Klar, 75, of Elmhurst, beloved wife of the late James R. Sr.; loving mother of Bruce, James Jr. (Marsha), Beth (John) Scinto and Bradley (Jane Allen); dear grandmother of Jack and Cara Bowton, Jared and Alec Scinto, Eloise Allen-Bowton; sister of Vera (Gunther) Wackerman. She worked at Marshall Field’s for 20 years and volunteered at Manor Care Nursing Home, Westmont. She was a great and loving mother and grandmother and will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Visitation at the Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Road, Elmhurst, from 3 to 9 p.m., Wednesday. Services 10 a.m., Thursday, August 12. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated for Misericordia.
