Warren W. Warner, 78, of Palatine, passed away Aug. 8 in Arlington Heights after an extended illness. He was born April 7, 1926 in Jump River, WI and attended school in Medford, WI. He married Mildred B. Oyler on April 7, 1951 and she preceded him in death on Oct. 30, 2000. Mr. Warner co-owned and operated the Palatine Shell Station for many years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Pacific Combat in WWII. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Warner of Bloomington; son, Richard (Ellen) Kieffer of Glenview, IL; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his sister, Maxine (Milton) Sebelik of Colorado. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother; and a sister. Visitation Wednesday 3 to 8 p.m. at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy., Palatine. Funeral Thursday 9:30 a.m. to St. Theresa Church, 465 N. Benton, Palatine. Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Michael Cemetery, Palatine.
