Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

My biggest gripe is those superfluous digital signs that hang over the platforms and tell you what time it is and not to smoke– over and over (“What’s your CTA gripe?” Aug. 10).

They should tell you when the next train is coming and what color it is, especially at the stations where there are multiple train lines, like Fullerton and Belmont. On the Blue Line out by O’Hare, they have such luxuries, but only at one or two of the stops. It just seems like a waste of money to have such signs if they don’t give helpful information to the passengers.
