Twice in a recent week I have had lighted cigarettes hit my vehicle as I commute to work. One of them almost made it inside my car.
Since when is it OK for these geniuses to fling their disgusting waste anywhere they want? Billions of cigarette butts litter our streets, highways and everywhere else imaginable. I’m getting tired of it.
Smokers do not make up the rules. It is time that the authorities start enforcing the law. A $250 littering fine would be a great start. Cleanup detail should also be included with each offense.
