Misty May is a go for the beach volleyball tournament that began Saturday, although she hopes her opponents don’t hear that her adominal injury is healed. “I know that Kerri [Walsh] and I target an opponent who’s injured,” May said. “I think people target me anyway because [Walsh] is 6-foot-3 and smashes balls into people’s faces. I hope other teams do target me, because I feel good and I’m ready to play. I’m 100 percent.” May was unable to play in the Sydney Games because of a similar injury. “You have to listen to your body. This is a different injury. Nothing hurts right now. I’ll be ready to go.”Walsh is sporting gold nail polish. “I’ve been thinking about gold for quite a while now,” Walsh said.
