This is regarding “Replacing Wrigley Field” (Commentary, Aug. 11). Does anyone seriously believe that there would ever be consensus on rebuilding Wrigley Field–pleasing the neighborhood, the Tribune, the city and all the other interested constituencies? I think the Tribune has shown great restraint by not making plans to immediately move the Cubs to the boonies after the latest structural problems and the mayor’s subsequent fit. I detect an underground agenda to all of this and I would bet on a new village of condos constructed at Clark and Addison before a new Wrigley.
