E-commerce needs to be aired
The Cosmopolitan Chamber of Commerce will sponsor “Using Technology to Gain a Competitive Advantage,” its Second Annual Technology Conference and Trade Show.
The event, which is geared toward the e-commerce needs of small and medium-size companies, takes place from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at the Hyatt McCormick Conference Center, 2233 S. King Drive.
Scheduled speakers include Senate President Emil Jones Jr.; Chris O’Brien, chief technology officer for the City of Chicago; Leroy Wright of the Wright Group technology firm; John Maxson of the Illinois Coalition; and Dennis Sienko of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
It is sponsored by U.S. Cellular Corp., The Illinois Coalition and the U.S. Postal Service.
Tickets are $75 for chamber members and $100 for non-members.
