Harry A. Lemke, age 83, from Wildwood, died August 15, 2004 at VA Medical Center, North Chicago. He was born Jan. 8, 1921 in Custer, WI. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church. He was a member of the 12th Armoured Division, Square Dancing Club, and was a boilermaker. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeanette; children, Carol Lemke of Park City and Sally (Rich) Figge of Round Lake Beach; loving grandfather of Chip, Christopher and Carl Moore (Heather) and Ann Marie Figge; great-grandfather of Angelica and Elizabeth Moore; also survived by his brothers, Donnie and Stanley Lemke, and sisters, Cecelia, Lydia, Bernice, Rose (Bob) and Mary (Paul); nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his brother Joe Lemke and sister Clara Rodenberg. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 6401 Gages Lake Rd., Gurnee. Burial at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville. Visitation from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Thursday at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 Cemetery Rd., Gurnee, IL. 847-336-0127 .
