It was both insulting and amusing to read the remarks of whiney suburbanites from Wilmette complaining about having middle- and lower-income housing in their suburb.

For many reasons, it is of value to have a cross section of people in your suburb, including having your children learn to get along with many types of people.

The world is a melting pot and you cannot hide from that in your million-dollar homes.
