Allen Iverson couldn’t marvel at the splendor of the Parthenon or wander through restaurants and shops in Athens. Coming to Greece and realizing how popular he is internationally has shocked Iverson “more than you can imagine,” he said. “I tried to sum it all up and put it together in my head, but I don’t know why.” He said he’d like to “show [my kids] another part of the world. But it won’t happen.”
