What is it about Las Vegas that makes celebribrats want to marry?
More details have emerged about Nicky Hilton’s fly-by-night wedding to money manager Todd Andrew Meister, thanks to “Access Hollywood,” people.com and The Associated Press.
Nicky flew into town by private jet Friday for Stuff magazine’s casino weekend at the Palms Hotel and Casino. Saturday night she and sister Paris dined at Little Buddha (also in the Palms) with Todd.
Then it was off to Stuff’s party with the likes of Tara Reid, Lindsay Lohan and Wilmer Valderrama. Afterward–reportedly without announcing their intentions–Nicky and Todd were married at the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel with Paris and pal Bijou Phillips in attendance. A spokeswoman at the chapel confirmed the 2:30 a.m. Sunday wedding.
Elliot Mintz, a spokesman for Nicky, said the couple is “happy and doing well.” Mintz said they spent their first day as newlyweds at an L.A. hotel. He said they are planning a honeymoon and waved off comparisons to Britney Spears’ ill-fated Vegas wedding earlier this year.
“This is a real, meaningful, loving relationship,” Mintz said. “They are glowing.”
