Beloved husband of the late Margaret, nee Bassett; loving companion of Lydia Erikson; loving father of Wayne (Lynn), Glenn (Melanie), Gary (Janet), Gordon (Janet) Lewin and Yvonne (George) Raetzke; dear grandfather of 12; and great-grandfather of 12; fond brother of Helen Hoff, the late Clara Messerschmidt, and Martha Fontana. Visitation Thursday, 3 to 9 p.m., at Grove Memorial Chapel, 1199 S. Arlington Hts Rd., Elk Grove Village. Lying in state, Friday, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. at the Elk Grove Baptist Church. Interment to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
