The Britney buzz just won’t die.
Earlier this week, Us Weekly reported that Britney Spears and her fiance, Kevin Federline, were in discussions to replace Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey as the next “Newlyweds” on MTV. But MTV denied that, People reports.
Still, fans are clamoring for it, starting a grass-roots campaign to get Brit and Kevin their own series, the media Web site Gawker reports.
Meanwhile, trying to keep track of “the marriage is on, the marriage is off” rumors could make your head spin. For those of you keeping score at home: The latest rumor–that the couple decided to get married Thursday–is untrue, a publicist for the pop star told People.
