Sharon M. Flynn, 64, of Lake Michigan Beach, passed away peacefully with her family present on August 18, 2004. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI with Msgr. Eugene A. Sears officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma, MI. Friends may call on Friday, August 20, 2004 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Berrien County Council for Children or Lake Michigan Catholic Schools. Sharon was born to Marie, nee McHale and John Doherty on April 29, 1940 in Chicago, IL. Sharon is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Flynn (Ramon) Urrea and son Rob Flynn; grandchildren Kristopher Urrea, Julianne Urrea, Shannon Flynn and Emmett Flynn; brothers Dennis, Jack (Ginny), Brian (Janice), Bill (Joan) and Terry (Maureen) Doherty, and sisters Kathy (Larry) Martino, Maureen (Doug) Domke and Lori (Mike) Graham; and she was a dear aunt to many; a loving niece to Rose McHale; and a loyal friend to many. Sharon was preceded in death by her father; daughter Molly Ann Flynn; brother Walter Doherty and sister Julie Doherty.
