Michael McLaughlin M.D., age 55, passed away after a long illness on August 14, 2004, in Waco, TX. He is survived by his mother, Therese McLaughlin; his brother Sean McLaughlin, and his sisters Patti Sullivan, Dianne McLaughlin and Maureen Litz; he was dearly loved by his 11 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. John McLaughlin M.D. Michael was a graduate of Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and completed his residency in psychiatry in Galveston, Texas. He was a practicing physician for 22 years. Dr. McLaughlin was a resident of Texas. Those who knew Michael were blessed by his humble manner, sense of humor and generosity. He will be deeply missed by numerous family and friends. All those who knew him can testify to his courage, determination and wisdom during his lengthy illness. Services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2004, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Germaine’s Church in Oak Lawn, Il. Burial services private. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
