Rosemary Hughes Thunder, 86, formerly of Park Ridge, passed away at Libertyville Manor Extended Care Facility in Libertyville. She was born April 30, 1918 in Evanston, IL, daughter of the late John and Luella, (nee Quan) Hughes. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Ivan D. Thunder of Grayslake; her children, Rosemary (James) Schwoebel of Montrose, CO, Maureen (Dennis) Brebner of Lake Bluff, James (Ann) Thunder of McLean, VA, Thomas (Lin) Thunder of Palatine, Anita (Richard) Rotchstein of Weddington, NC, Diane (John) Schlosser of Elm Grove, WI and Sheila (Jerry) Zygmunt of Grayslake; her brother and sisters, Edmund Hughes of Palatine, Lucille Hughes of Palatine and Margarite Burnes of Irvine, CA; her 26 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2004 at St. Gilbert Catholic Church, 301 E. Belvidere Rd., Grayslake. Interment will be privately held at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. Visitation is from 4 p.m to 8 p.m. Sunday, August 22, 2004 at Strang Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, Ltd., 410 E.
