– The 34th annual fall Auburn Collector Car Auction and Show will take place Aug. 28 through Sept. 7 at Kruse International Auction Park, 5540 County Road 11-A (Interstate Highway 69 at exit 126), Auburn, Ind. – Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Mich., holds its annual Old Car Festival Sept. 11 and 12. The festival, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, will feature more than 500 vehicles from before 1932. This is the longest continuously running car show of its kind in the U.S. It is free with admission to the village, which costs $20 for adults, $19 for seniors and $14 for children older than 5. – The Top Cats of Illinois motorcycle club is hosting its 8th annual charity ride Sept. 12. It will benefit the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association. Registration starts at 9 a.m., and the first bike will leave Duke’s Grill, 476 W. Liberty St., Wauconda, at 10 a.m. Autos also are welcome in the pledge ride. – The Chicagoland Bicycle Federation holds its 16th annual Boulevard Lakefront Tour Sept. 12. The 10- or 35-mile tour will take in Chicago boulevards and parks on the West and South Sides. It begins at 7-8 a.m. near Midway Plaisance. Last year some 2,200 cyclists participated. The tour costs $25 for federation members, $30 for nonmembers and $15 for children.
