Dean Perry Wessel, 84, WWII Navy Veteran and designer of the world famous Chicago Bull logo, died peacefully August 16, at his home in Northfield. Survivors include his wife, Katherine; two sons, Peter and Paul and one daughter, Karen; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., August 26 at the Kenilworth Union Church, 211 Kenilworth Ave., Kenilworth, IL. Memorials may be made to Palliative Care Center and Hospice of the North Shore, 2821 Central St., Evanston, IL 60201.
