America’s top speed-eater wolfed down 38 lobsters in 12 minutes Saturday to win the World Lobster Eating Contest in Kennebunk, Maine. Sonya Thomas won $500 and a trophy belt for consuming 9.76 pounds of lobster meat. Thomas, who won a baked bean contest days before in Indiana, also holds the record for hard-boiled eggs.
