Judith J. Brown, 58, of Elgin, passed away Tuesday, August 24, in Elgin, mother of Carrie (Joel) Freehling of Chicago, Scott (Susanna) Brown of Ann Arbor, Michigan; grandmother of two, Jamison Brown and Alexander Freehling; her parents William J. and June Bergan of Huntley, formerly of Elgin; and sister of Barbara (Hank) Holz of Elgin. Funeral services Friday, 1 p.m. in the Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., (Rte 31, Elgin). Burial in Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.
