WWII, passed away Aug. 24, 2004, beloved husband of Grace; loving father of Valerie (David) Meccia, Alfred (Donna) Mayer and Sally (Jim) Gerros; grandfather of Nick, Matthew, Amanda, Doug, Melissa and Thomas; dear brother of Connie, Fred (Karen) and Heidi; fond uncle of Jeff and Alison Mayer. Carl was a 33rd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, a Grand Lecture Emeritas of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, State of Illinois, Past Master of Loyal Lodge #1007, and a member of the Medinah Shrine. Visitation Thursday 3 to 7 p.m. at The Scottish Rite Cathedral, 915 N. Dearborn St., Chicago, with 7 p.m. Masonic Service. Visitation Friday 3 to 9 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Saturday 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home to Norwood Park Lutheran Church for 10:30 a.m. Service. Interment Ridgewood Cemetery, Des Plaines, IL.
