The Norwegian magazine Se og Hoer offered a $14,800 reward Tuesday for the return of two priceless Edvard Munch masterpieces–“The Scream” and “Madonna”–stolen from an Oslo museum Sunday, The Associated Press reported.

Just two weeks before the theft, RedEye sat down with “The Scream.”

So tell me. Why the long face?

IT WASN’T MY IDEA! EDDIE COULDN’T FIND HIS KEYS ONE DAY, AND THIS IS WHAT I ENDED UP WITH! I ALWAYS TOLD HIM, “DON’T PAINT ANGRY!”

I’ll be honest, you seem more tense than usual.

WELL, I THINK SOMEBODY’ S BEEN STALKING ME!

What makes you think that?

JUST A FEELING! IT’S PROBABLY NOTHING!

Don’t you think maybe they should tighten security around here?

THAT’S WHAT I SAID! THEY JUST LAUGHED AND SAID I WAS BEING PARANOID!

Maybe you are.

PROBABLY! HEY, DO YOU HAVE A LOZENGE?!

Sorry, fresh out.

DAMN!
