James Edmond Prendiville, age 65, of Leaf River, IL, formerly of Berwyn, beloved husband of Mary T.; loving father of John (Georgia), Kevin (Jerami), Tim (Christine), Terese, James (Beneen) and Charles (Malora); devoted grandfather of Katie, Elaine, Jack and Zoe, Hope, Sean and Abbey and Yasmine; dear brother of Fr. Eugene, O.M.I., John, Eileen Schmitz and the late Redmond; fond uncle and friend of many. Jim was a 1957 graduate from St. Ignatius High School and a 1961 graduate of Xavier University. He retired from the Illinois Department of Human Services in 2000 and spent the last 4 years living his dream of a quiet life as a horseman on the Rocking P Ranch. Visitation Friday 3 to 9 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park and Saturday 10:30 a.m. until time of Service 11:30 a.m. Interment private.
