As a youngster I remember attending many air shows with my parents, my father being retired Navy. Witnessing the precision flying and dedication that those serving our country display on a daily basis makes me appreciate the fact that they are on our side. My husband and I and our toddlers are big fans of military aviation and truly enjoy the roar of the jets as they fly overhead.
Perhaps next year those who wish that the air show would go away could entertain the idea of trading places with those of us who would appreciate the unique vantage point those locations provide.
