Dr. Jose Balboa, 59, died August 24, 2004. Received his medical degree from San Simon University, Bolivia, trained at Columbus Cabrini and Mercy Hospitals, longtime member of St. Anthony Hospital, NorwegianAmerican Hospital and St. Elizabeth Hospital. He is the loving son of Ana and the late Hermogenes; beloved brother of Candy (late Dr. Oscar) Diaz and Daphne Balboa; dear friend of Mahoma Cruz; fond uncle of several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to B.A.M.S./Dr. Jose Balboa Foundation. Funds collected will be sent to Gota de Leche in La Paz, Bolivia.
