Marie Steiner died August 17 at the Moorings of Arlington Heights at the age of 95. She was the beloved daughter of Ida and Christian Steiner as well as the fond sister of Harold. Marie was a very effective principal of Linne Elementary School in Chicago for 27 years. She was an active member of the Edgebrook Lutheran Church, an avid traveller and member of Delta Kappa Gamma. Interment private. On Friday, September 10, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. a service of remembrance will take place at the Moorings Health Center, 761 Old Barn Lane, Arlington Heights, 60005. In lieu of flowers, donations can may be made to Make a Wish Foundation of Illinois, 640 N. LaSalle St., Suite 280, Chicago, IL 60610-3754.
