– In partnership with the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation, Forest Park is launching a Shop by Bike program to encourage shoppers to leave their cars at home. Those who use their bicycles to shop will present a card to be punched each time they shop at a participating business to be eligible for a raffle. The program runs from Sept. 11 through Oct. 30. – The 34th annual Midwest Model T Ford Club Antique Car Show, Parts Swap and Flea Market is scheduled for Sept. 12. The event , which runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be held at the Kane County Fairgrounds on Randall Road between Roosevelt Road and North Avenue, St. Charles. Cars from classics and antiques to street rods will be on display and judged in 41 classes. Show car registration costs $7. Spectator admission is $5 and free for children younger than 12. – The Chicagoland Bicycle Federation has scheduled its final two public meetings to solicit input on improving bicycle trails. It will then make recommendations to the Cook County Forest Preserve District. The two are set for 7 to 8 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Arlington Heights Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Rd. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the East Hazel Crest Village Hall, 1904 W. 174th St. The meetings are free. Visit www.biketraffic.org.

– The Valpo-Fest Motorcycle Show and Swap will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 18 at the Porter County Fairgrounds, on Indiana Highway 49, one mile south of U.S. 30 in Valparaiso. The fee to show a motorcycle or car is $15. Spectator admission costs $6 for adults and $2 for children younger than 12. Visit wwww.2motorcycleshows.com.

– The second annual Cars on the Drive collector car show will be held from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 18 in the Adler Planetarium parking lot. The event will include judging in 22 classes and a Lake Shore Drive cruise. Registration for judging costs $30 through Sept. 3, $35 at the gate and $20 for non-judged parking.
