NHTSA has upgraded or begun several investigations, which can lead to vehicle recalls:

– 2000 Ford Focus. The Focus investigation covers 260,000 cars after 17 reports that rear doors didn’t close properly.

– 2002 Toyota Tundra. The Tundra investigation covers 110,000 pickups after 18 reports that a part in the suspension failed.

– 2000-01 Cadillac DeVilles, covering 183,884 vehicles, after three complaints that seat belts failed, causing three injuries.

– 2003-04 Saturn Ion after 13 reports of turn signal failure; 190,000 vehicles are involved.
