I believe that William Rood is correct when he states that the actions of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth denigrate the efforts of every veteran who served in Vietnam, especially those who are not in the limelight and who seldom get the chance to make their point. I served two-and-a-half years in Vietnam and am proud of my service. So, Mr. Rood, thank you for your honesty and welcome home.
