Matthew Michael Monckton, age 24, of Addison, loving son of Lew (Denise) Monckton and Linda, nee Novak, Monckton; dear brother of Patrick and Peter; devoted grandson of Therese “Nana” and the late Lewis “Grandpa” Monckton and the late Joseph “Papa” and Eleanor “NoNo” Novak; Matthew was a beloved nephew, cousin and friend to many and an inspiration to all. Matthew was a 1998 graduate of Addison Trail High School and graduated from Elmhurst College in 2003 with a BA in Finance. Visitation 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Funeral Wednesday, 9:15 a.m., to St. Luke Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment private.
