James Lopardo, age 59, passed away on Aug. 29, 2004. He was a longtime resident of Elk Grove Village, beloved husband of Rita Cozzi; devoted son of the late James and Emily, nee Olszewski, Lopardo; fond brother of Charles (Laurette) Lopardo and Richard (Cathy) Lopardo; loving stepfather of Denise, Catherine and Michael; proud stepgrandfather of Gary Hiller, Sarah, Jackie and Anthony; fond uncle to Charles (Mary Kay) Lopardo, Paul (Tracy) Lopardo, Lisa (Rick) Spaid and Melissa Lopardo; dear great-uncle, cousin and friend to many. Mr. Losardo will be remembered for his service in the U.S. Army as a military policeman. He will be missed by all. A Mass will be held Wednesday, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m. at Queen of the Rosary Church, 750 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village, 60007.
