Edward S. Paulsen, a loyal Cubs fan, was born Jan. 10, 1914 to Peter (Sigvard) Paulsen and Alice (Hulda Peterson) Paulsen, passed away on August 29, 2004. Preceded in death by his wife Marion Georgia (Kummerow) Paulsen; and loving sister Hazel DeTappan. Survived by his four sons Thomas Lee of Levittown, PA, David Edward of Spring Hill, FL, Gary Arthur of Arlington Heights, IL, Martin Louis of San Clemente, CA; and 13 grandchildren. A longtime resident of Westmont, IL, Edward served in the Pacific Theater in World War II as a member of the United States Army. He enjoyed his retirement years in Sun City, AZ and his last few years in San Clemente, CA.
