Robert John Swannie, born July 2, 1932. Passed away at home in Dallas, TX on August 15, 2004. Bob attended U of IL and Stetson U. He proudly served as a U.S. Marine, Korean War. His apparel industry career spaned 40 years. His passion was a love of fine art and wine. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert L. and Andrina P. Swannie. Father of Laura Khoshbin (Dr. Khoshbin), Stephen, Amy (Tom) Gestach (Tom), Robert (Joanna) and Ward (Patti); grandfather of Amy Khoshbin, Katy, Nick and Emily Gestach, Sunny, Stephen and Shannon Swannie and Lillian and Helen Swannie; Brother and fiancee Raymond P. Swannie (Cheri Hendrix); sister Nancy E. (Charles) Lilly; niece Jennifer Swannie and her son, Joshua and nephews J. Scott and Peter Swannie; and a loving aunt and cousins. He will be missed by his family and many friends. A family service will be held Saturday, October 2, 2004.
