Is soft-spoken soul sensation Alicia Keys a diva?
The singer sparked rumors of a J.Lo-like hissy fit after a photo shoot for the new fashion magazine Suede, msnbc.com reports. An “insider” from the shoot claims that Keys and her mother, who accompanied her to the shoot, were overbearing and stormed out of the session after only a few pictures were taken.
But there are two sides to every story. A source close to Keys says Suede’s makeup and hair people were too much to take for the “reasonable and low-key” Keys. “If they think Alicia Keys is difficult, wait until they have to deal with Janet Jackson,” the source told MSNBC.
Of course, both Keys’ rep and the magazine deny anything went wrong. The rumor is “absolutely not true,” Keys’ rep said, adding, “Alicia is always a professional.”
