Leonard Joseph Jeka, age 81, of Calumet City, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife, Clevonne M., nee Searles, of 58 years; beloved father to Becki Jeka, Monica (Dan) Hoffman and Clevonne M. Jeka; cherished grandfather to Lance Joseph Hoffman of Dunellene, NJ and Brad Joseph Hoffman of Philadelpha, PA; numerous nieces and nephews; preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Funeral Service Saturday 9:30 a.m. at Castle Hill Funeral Home, 248-155th Place, Calumet City, IL, to St. Andrew the Apostle Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 9 p.m. Len was a WWII Army Air Force Veteran, also lifelong parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle Church and first lector-commentator and past officer of many church organizations, American Legion Post #330 of Calumet City, IL and retired from Inland Steel.
