Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

As a lifelong Sox fan, defender of players and management alike, I feel I have earned the right to vent.

This is directed squarely at the White Sox players:

What’s going on?

Throwing in the towel?

Your lackluster, nonchalant attitude is completely unacceptable.

Early this season you complained about lack of fan support.

I’ve been to a dozen games this season and have tickets for a couple more. I haven’t seen crowds like this at Sox Park in 10 years, but with the amount of effort you guys are showing on the field, the crowds won’t be around much longer.

Injuries?

General manager Ken Williams has done a good job giving you what you need to win.

You still have as much talent as anyone in your division.

The difference is attitude.

The Twins expect to win every game, they play hard, they get results. They have the attitude every day.

All the contending teams are pulling together for the stretch run.

The Cubs fans are all over me, but I’m still in there swingin’. How about some support?
