There are plenty of great questions in life, and, fortunately, we have the answer to one of them: Where were Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake during Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards?
Spears, who has been involved in a couple of memorable VMA moments over the years, was a no-show this year. Her rep, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick, told mtv.com that the pop tart was advised by doctors not to fly because her injured knee had worsened and could be affected by air-pressure changes.
Mrs. Federline-to-be also skipped out on a performance by kids in her performing arts camp in Massachusetts, again citing flying as a reason. What made her absence at the camp particularly disappointing to some was that Spears has been photographed out and about in California with Kevin.
As for Timberlake, he was simply soaking up the sun in Hawaii on vacation with girlfriend Cameron Diaz. Poor him.
