Darlene P. Plimmer, age 66, of Onarga, IL, formerly of Chicago, IL, born March 25, 1938, passed away Monday, August 30, 2004 at Iroquois Memorial Hospital, Watseka, IL. Loving wife of Ernest Bob “Red” Plimmer, Onarga, IL, whom she married December 31, 1960; cherished mother of Jimmy Plimmer, Chicago; devoted grandmother of five; and great-grandmother of one; caring sister of Lolly Socki, River Grove, and Jackie Socki, Cicero. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Socki and Lillian, nee Lawless; two brothers, one sister; one son, Brady; and stepfather, John Kelly. Services Friday, Sept. 3, 2004 at Knapp Funeral Home, Onarga, IL, at 10 a.m., with Father John Balluff, officiating. Visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. Chapel service at Oakridge Cemetery at 2 p.m., Hillside, IL, on Friday. Memorials to donor’s choice.
