Although tightly controlled Singapore has been slowly easing its censorship rules–with a 22-year ban on U.S. magazine Cosmopolitan to be lifted this month–a radio station that tested the new bounds apparently went too far, Reuters reports. MediaCorp Radio was fined $17,500 after its DJs made on-air comments about pornography and women’s panties.
