Robert “Bob” H. Jarrell, age 81, Sept. 1, 2004, beloved son of the late John and late Catherine, nee Grace, Jarrell; loving husband for 55 years to Elizabeth J., nee Beidelman; dear father of Katherine (Gerd) Reuter, Michael (Patricia), Steven (Catherine) and Peter (Susan) Jarrell; fond brother to John L. (Betty) Jarrell and the late Frank; loving grandfather of Michael Reuter, Christopher, Timothy, Brian and Diana, Jennifer, Kenneth and Forrest Jarrell. Robert Jarrell was a 1946 graduate of University of Illinois, with a B.A. Degree, and a Master’s Degree in Management from Illinois Institute of Technology, 1961. He was employed at the Illinois Institute of Technology (“IIT”) from 1951 to 1983. He was the Comptroller and then the Business Manager. Served as Lisle Township Clerk, Lisle Township Supervisor, Chairman of Lisle Township Republican Organization and served as a DuPage County Jury Commissioner. Funeral Saturday 10 a.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Gartner Rd., Naperville, IL. Interment will be in the Naperville Cemetery.
