There were no advance screenings of “The Cookout” and “Paparazzi.” In “The Cookout,” a comedy starring Queen Latifah, a basketball player who signs a $30 million deal with his hometown team throws a big barbecue at his home to keep things real. In “Paparazzi,” a drama starring Tom Sizemore, a celebrity decides to make a persistent photographer pay for almost causing a personal tragedy.
Both films open at area theaters Friday.
