In your recent editorial on skimpy teen fashions, you asked “Is modesty making a comeback?” (“A modest fashion statement,” Editorial, Aug. 30). Well, I just moved to Iowa City and, albeit the college women I see parading around the ped-mall while I am enjoying an afternoon cup of tea are just a tad older than the girls you wrote about in your editorial, I do believe they share the same fashion sense. To that end, I can answer your question with a resounding and unequivocal “no.” Not that I am complaining, of course.
