Watching the Republic convention, I was disturbed not by the way Sept. 11, 2001, was being used to highlight President Bush’s leadership qualities but by the blurring of the wars–the war against terrorism and the war against Iraq. After Sept. 11, we had the support of the world during our darkest hour.
Saddam Hussein did not attack America on Sept. 11.
We are fighting two different wars for two different reasons.
I believe the American people know the difference and won’t be fooled.
