Emily Nefeldt passed away on August 31, 2004 at the age of 89. She was a resident of Wheeling for 16 years, having previously lived in Park Ridge and Chicago. Her husband, Irving, preceded her in 1981. Emily lived a loving life and has left many friends and family. She is survived by two sons, Thomas and Dennis; daughter-in-law, Jane; one brother, Edward; two sisters, Florence and Alice; and a cousin, Grace. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 50 N. Buffalo Grove Rd., Buffalo Grove. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to The Danish Home, 5656 N. Newcastle Ave., Chicago, IL 60631.
